Chemical Compliance Support Footwear

Do you want to join our Supplier Quality Engineering department and contribute to chemical compliance by administrating the chemical content and test reports for our product portfolio Footwear? We are looking for a Chemical Compliance Support employee within our Footwear portfolio. This role is located in Leksand, Sweden. You will also need to work together with Supplier Quality Engineering Footwear and Product Line Footwear at our production site in Jokipii, Finland to ensure our products are compliant. For this reason, proficiency in Finnish is an absolute must.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage/Update the product chemical substance database, chemical innocuousness test certificates of our footwear product portfolio
• Collect test reports from suppliers, organizing external testing and create material data sheets, and some internal chemical testing in our own laboratory, as a base for our chemical regulatory compliance framework
• Archiving critical documentation
• Handle customs requirements in different markets
• Support sales in tenders and with technical documentations

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Keen interest in natural sciences
• Professional verbal and writing skills in English. Finnish language is a plus!

PERSONAL TRAITS
This position is a highly administrative role specialized in regulatory affairs of chemicals (REACH, CLP, BPR, PPE) in the industrial sector, including products and raw materials. We focus on providing technical information and executive services through regulatory compliance tasks, projects, tools, training, and education.

The role has high demands on the ability to structure and plan your work. It is also of importance that you are verbal and can create and maintain good relationships. You are independent and have a pro-active working style as well as the ability to work in a team.
