Interim Product Line Director – Gloves

As our current Product Line Director for Gloves moves on to a new opportunity, we are looking for an experienced Interim Product Line Director to lead and further develop one of our most important product categories within Product Management & Marketing.

 

This is a key leadership role for a commercially driven and internationally experienced leader who thrives in a cross-functional environment and is motivated by building high-performing teams and strong business results.

 

 

Your mission

 

You will lead our Gloves product line and play a pivotal role in strengthening our global competitiveness, ensuring a strong product portfolio, and driving commercial success.

 

 

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and continue to develop a high-performing team of 11 professionals across product management, development, and project management (based in Leksand)
  • Drive a more commercial, international, and cross-functional way of working
  • Own and evolve the product strategy, roadmap, and portfolio based on customer needs and market insights
  • Ensure a competitive and profitable offering within hand protection
  • Secure delivery of new products on time, quality, and cost targets
  • Lead the full product lifecycle and portfolio management
  • Collaborate closely with key functions such as sourcing, supply chain, sales, finance, pricing, and marketing
  • Drive synergies with the Footwear product line
  • Act as an active member of the PMM Leadership Team 

 

 

About the role

 

This is a highly international and cross-functional role with broad impact across the organisation. You will report to the Chief Product Management & Marketing Officer and be part of shaping the future of Ejendals’ offering.

 

Travel is required.

 

 

Who you are

 

You are a results-oriented and inspiring leader who combines a strong commercial mindset with a structured and pragmatic approach.

 

You bring:

  • 10+ years of leadership experience, including managing larger teams
  • Solid experience in product management, product development, and project management
  • A strong understanding of cross-functional collaboration in mid-sized organisations
  • Experience from an international business environment, ideally within B2B (B2C is a plus)
  • A commercial perspective, ideally with exposure to sales or marketing
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive change and improvement
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A coaching leadership style that engages and develops people 

 

 

You are:

  • Structured, self-driven, and solution-oriented
  • Curious, communicative, and collaborative
  • Energised by building both teams and business performance
  • A university degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent is expected.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage. 

 

 

Additional information

  • Location: Leksand (weekly presence required; hybrid model can be discussed)
  • Duration: Interim assignment, approximately 6–12 months
  • Start date: ASAP (current leader leaving in July)
